After forty-ish years of staying quiet

There is a long tradition online, of starting blogs and then abandoning them because life gets too hectic. I’ve done it before, and while it would be easy to believe it can happen again? I’m making sure to stick around this time because after so much career, I really do need a portfolio. This will be my cozy new online home, and I look forward to entertaining the bots along with the rest of you!

So, shooing the elephant out of the room: I am NOT Joe Rogan. Bless him, I’ve got no bone to pick with him as an individual even if I think that his face noises are mostly unfortunate. It’s just having to share a namespace with all of that baggage literally keeps me out of search results. This is precisely the only time I am going to mention his name or touch on the topic of sharing a name on this website. There. It’s done! Moving on…

Who I am and what I do can change from time to time. I’m sure you’ll get used to it. I certainly have, after a number of career re-inventions. At least now you will always be able to come here and bask in the sheer absurdity that seems to follow me like the Paparazzi.
